Can C Series Cerakote Colors Be Mixed

  • #i

Then I recently coated a rifle and parts with some H-Series Cerakote. It was my 1st time and in that location are a few very small spots where I did not encounter that didn't get quite enough blanket. So I take some C-Series in the exact aforementioned colour. Tin I degrease and just lightly coat these pieces? It will be on very lightly used things such as thread protector and the gear up of band. Would appreciate whatever help! Thank you

That's the affair....since information technology was my 1st fourth dimension to ever do this I had a massive brain fart and mixed about double the amount that I would need and now I don't have any H series left. I'd prefer not to spend another $twoscore for just a couple fiddling spots. I may spray a little C series on something else and see how well the ii friction match, I am mainly worried about if it volition stick to the H serial or non.

Nothing sticks to cured Cerakote. The merely proper fix is to nail the parts and shoot them again. I bet it's starting to experience similar information technology might take been cheaper to have a certified pro do information technology.

Ok, thank you, I may stop up just re-blasting and using the C-Serial on those parts..

And no information technology's withal cheaper for me to do information technology plus I want to do it to more rifles in the hereafter. Right now my cost into this is about $l and a scrap of time. Used the blaster at work and was given a spray gun. Gotta learn somewhere. Don't see why so many members here down other people trying to figure new stuff out, yes I mensurate incorrectly not knowing how much I might demand. Still looks really great even with the few small blemishes.

They accept uncontaminated 100-120 dust aluminum oxide where y'all work? Practise you piece of work in a Cerakote shop? I'thou non downward on learning new stuff. Your best source on tech questions similar this would exist to call Nic directly. They are very helpful and if they give you bad advice they will send yous replacement product to make it correct. If we give you a bum steer you might end up with a pile of junk.

You act like spraying a little paint is fuckin rocket science. To the op, try some norrells molly, its easier to spray and if your not dragging your gun down a gravel road, you tin can't tell a departure in immovability.
